A Number That Humbles Us
We recently crossed a milestone that stopped us in our tracks in the best possible way. Since our founding, we have now served nearly 10,000 patients in India through our precision oncology platform. Ten thousand individuals who came to us at one of the most frightening and uncertain moments of their lives, looking for answers that conventional diagnostics couldn’t give them. Ten thousand families hoping for clarity, for direction, for hope.
This milestone is not a statistic for us. It is a reminder of exactly why we exist.
Where It All Began
When we set out to build 1Cell.ai, we made a promise that the most advanced cancer diagnostics in the world should not be the exclusive privilege of patients at elite hospitals in major cities. We saw a healthcare system where millions of cancer patients in India were making critical treatment decisions based on incomplete, imprecise, or inaccessible information. We knew that technology existed to change that. And we committed ourselves to making sure it did.
Our operations in India became the proving ground for that commitment. Starting with our network of laboratories, oncologists, and clinical partners across the country, we began offering our single-cell multi-omics platform to patients who had never before had access to this level of diagnostic precision:- and the results spoke for themselves.
What 10,000 Patients Taught Us
Serving nearly 10,000 patients in India has been more than a commercial milestone:- it has been an extraordinary education. It has shown us that our Cell Biopsy® technology can be deployed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively at laboratories of any scale, anywhere in the world. It has validated our belief that precision oncology does not have to be expensive to be excellent. And it has deepened our understanding of cancer biology across diverse patient populations generating a rich, longitudinal dataset that is now powering the next generation of our AI models and clinical insights.
Every single one of those 10,000 patients contributed something invaluable to our mission, not just by trusting us with their care, but by helping us become better, smarter, and more precise in how we deliver it.
The Science Behind Every Patient
For each of those 10,000 patients, our platform has delivered something no conventional liquid biopsy or tissue biopsy could; a truly multi-dimensional view of their cancer, drawn from a simple blood draw. By isolating and analysing live Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) at single-cell resolution, capturing DNA, RNA, and protein data simultaneously, we have given oncologists insights into tumour behaviour, treatment response, disease progression, and recurrence risk that were previously simply unavailable.
Our ability to detect CTCs at a ratio of 1 in a billion and analyse them comprehensively at the molecular level means that for many of these patients, we identified critical clinical information that would otherwise have gone undetected until it was too late to act.
From India to the World
The lessons we have learned serving 10,000 patients in India are now powering our global expansion. The same technology, the same rigour, and the same commitment to accessibility and affordability that drove our success in India are now at the heart of our U.S. launch, anchored by our CLIA-certified laboratory in Foster City, California and our flagship OncoIncytes platform.
Our goal: To reach 1 million patients globally, feels more achievable today than ever before. Not because the number is smaller than it was, but because we now know, with certainty, that our technology works at scale, across diverse populations, in real clinical settings.
