A 55-year-old female was diagnosed with carcinoma of the left breast. She underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgery. Post-treatment imaging in March 2025 revealed extensive disease progression as well as lesions in the lung, liver, and bone. Pathology confirmed metastatic breast cancer with immunohistochemistry (IHC) showing negativity for ER, PR, and HER2 (score 1), and a high Ki-67 proliferation index (55%), consistent with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).
